An amalgamation of seven offices from across the city into one large, collaborative workplace, City of Greater Geelong’s (COGG) impressive new multi-building precinct ‘Wurriki Nyal’ is highly acclaimed across Australia.
The development pioneers new construction methods and styles, being one of the country’s earliest all-timber frame structures for a commercial building of it’s scale. The visible frame made from locally sourced Cross Laminated Timber (CLT) not only creates a unique visual impact, but elevates the structure as environmentally sustainable. With a 6 Star Green Star Design and As-Built Rating as well as a 6 Star NABERS Energy Rating – click here to read more about the innovative building methods and materials used.
As the primary workstations and furniture partner, Burgtec took a collaborative approach to the project, working closely with the client to customise an electric workstations package that accommodates and enhances the new ways of working for COGGs 700+ employees. Complimented by a complete soft seating, loose furniture and storage solution, Burgtec is grateful to have worked with the people of COGG on this landmark project.
Burgtec was across the detail better than any company we've worked with. We couldn't fault them at any point.
