Canberra’s Hospital has recently undergone extensive work with the addition of their brand-new Critical Services Building (Building 5).
Many of their critical care services moved into the new state-of-the-art building which was designed to create a better-connected and person-centred hospital.
We worked closely with Multiplex to supply custom workstations for the hospital staff as well as storage units, task and visitor chairs. With hygiene, employees’ wellbeing, and patients’ data privacy at the heart of the design, our Strata 360 workstation were fitted with custom steel privacy screens designed in-house. The screens were powder coated in custom colours to match the hospital colour code and for easy identification of the services across 7 floors.
With around 3,000 staff trained to work in the new building and many patients to come through, Burgtec is proud to have partnered on this custom project and supplied a fit-for-purpose workstation and loose furniture package.
