Burgtec joins the OfficePace family

Burgtec and OfficePace, two of Australia’s leading family-owned office furniture manufacturers, have joined forces.

Burgtec Managing Director, Franz Schubert, says while it is the start of a new chapter for the WA business, the Burgtec name will remain synonymous with outstanding quality.

“OfficePace will continue the proud tradition started 38 years ago by my parents, Wolfgang and Sonja Schubert,” Franz says.

OfficePace Director Joel Kennard says Burgtec and OfficePace share a proud heritage as wholly-owned family businesses dedicated to traditional values of quality design, exceptional customer service and local manufacturing.

“We have both successfully forged a reputation for being at the forefront of furniture and fitout solutions for modern workspaces, while retaining a strong commitment to Australian manufacturing and craftsmanship,” Joel says.

“The Burgtec manufacturing facility in WA and our manufacturing facility in NSW will form the backbone of our operations, producing a range of innovative, world-class furniture that reflects the latest workplace and ergonomics research.”

Burgtec will have an even more powerful presence in WA, with a strengthened product portfolio.

Burgtec customers will now have access to Burgtec’s collection as well as OfficePace’s expansive range of office furniture solutions including the renowned Strata workstation, and exclusive German and Italian designs.

Clients will continue to benefit from the expertise and support of Burgtec’s Perth-based client services team for all their requirements – from product solutions through to project management and installation. The WA team will be led by Karen Luppino, who has been with Burgtec for 13 years.

Burgtec has been behind the design and fitout of some of WA’s most iconic spaces, including the WA Parliament’s Legislative Assembly, and prestigious international projects, including the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Brunei International Airport.
