Galkangu – Bendigo GovHub

Galkangu — Bendigo GovHub brought Victorian Government and City of Greater Bendigo teams together into one workplace on Lyttleton Terrace, opening in 2023 as the largest timber-framed building in Victoria. Burgtec supplied the entire workstations and loose furniture package for the office floors, delivered on a 16-week program. The Lyons-designed building leaves its CLT floors and glulam posts exposed, so the furniture had to sit comfortably against warm structural timber and complex curved geometry — a package specified for a workplace built around daylight, sustainability and agile working for roughly 900 staff.
