Willoughby City Council refurbished its Victor Street administration building in Chatswood to bring the office up to contemporary work practices. Burgtec supplied the entire workstation and loose furniture package on a program covering three floors, as INTREC Management stripped Levels 4 and 5 back to cold shell and rebuilt them as modern open-plan workspace. The refurbishment added two kitchens, meeting rooms, offices and amenities, activated the Level 4 external terrace, and included a lighter refurbishment on Level 6. Work of this kind happens inside a council's own operating building, so the furniture roll-out had to land in step with staged handovers floor by floor.
