An 8-floor workplace (1,100 workstations) for multiple government departments, including Transport, Planning, Industry, Environment & Service NSW, ‘The Store’ by DOMA & BLOC Constructions stands as Newcastle’s largest office building with over 9,400 square meters of workspace.
Burgtecs key point of difference in this project was the ability to drastically modify standard designs to suit the stringent ergonomic standards of all agencies, and the ability to handle the logistical and production scale required in a short lead time.
A design by Bates Smart featuring Open Offices, Meeting Rooms, Breakout Areas, Concierge and Collaboration Spaces, Burgtec is thankful to be involved in this remarkable project.
