The Victorian The Department of Justice and Regulation is one of nine departments of the Victorian State Government, employing over 21,000 staff and enjoys the support of around 90,000 volunteers around the state. To support ongoing and future growth within the department, the DJR took an additional 1000m2 in the Melbourne CBD, which included fitting out the existing warm-shell office space to bring it in line with the departments’ office protocol.
Burgtec / OfficePace was engaged as a successful contractor through Kane Constructions to supply a fully bespoke workstation solution for this space. Through close collaboration with the architect, the head-contractor, other trades and the client themselves, we were able to engineer a solution that met the design brief, provided the required ergonomic functionality and, importantly, fitted within the budget requirements.
The Burgtec / OfficePace team was pleased to be able to bring their vision to life within a short four week lead-time for this project, which resulted in a happy client, happy contractor and happy employee’s at the new DJR Melbourne CBD office.
