Delivering the next generation of Defence facilities, CPB Contractors was appointed Managing Contractor of the $274 million RAAF Base Williamtown Redevelopment Stage 2 project.
A key part of the project was the construction and fit-out of the state-of-the-art Len Waters Building, named after the first Aboriginal Australian military pilot. Consisting of offices to accommodate 950+ personnel and a range of other spaces, Burgtec was engaged to take on a large portion of the FF&E works, manufacturing, customising, and fitting a complete workstation, joinery, and loose furniture solution.
As a secure, operating government site with uncompromising security measures, this project called for impeccable co-ordination with minimal time on-site and no room for issue. Burgtec is grateful to be involved, providing quality Australian-made solutions for our Defence force.
