‘Laminate: for workplace’, a Canberra Showroom Event with Laminex

The guys from Laminex recently took over our Canberra showroom for a day.

In September 2022, the Canberra design community got to meet the new additions to the Laminex Colour Collection early, brought to life with complementary pairings on Burgtec pieces. ‘Otway’ from the Living Pigments range to name one, was a favourite with it’s deep yet soft green finish – and as an accent from the curated palette it can be applied to metal surfaces on Burgtec products for uniformity across different pieces in a workplace.

   

Most importantly though, we took the opportunity to network and discuss all things ‘Laminate: for workplace’, sharing a carefully compiled blueprint to keeping control of budgets and timeframes through smart material specification.

With supply chain issues impacting many importing brands in recent years, projects have faced major delays and budget blow-outs. But with access to locally-made furniture, finished in locally-made material there is complete confidence available. Confidence in lead-time, confidence in quality, and confidence in solutions that will hold their competitive price without fluctuating.

There was a remarkable turnout, and everyone walked away inspired, and with a deeper understanding of how material and furniture options can be utlised innovativley together to get the best result for every project, and every client.
