Thrilled by the opportunity to provide a better, safer workplace for more than 500 frontline workers, Burgtec managed the Workstations, Lockers, and Seating solution for this incredible project.
Old Maitland Hospital has been replaced by something bigger & better – the largest New-build Hospital in the Southern Hemisphere, providing state-of-the-art facilities and programs to significantly improve the experience of all staff & patients.
Working in 400 rooms across all floors including corridors, staff areas, medical rooms, and ABW areas, Burgtec manufactured and installed over 1500 lockers, 400 workstations, and a range of loose seating/storage solutions.
The design features white desk frames and tops for a clean, open quality with blue hues bringing a subtle charm to the spaces.
Burgtec began on-site early in the project to fit Locker Kicks allowing the flooring to be installed accurately.
With staged installations & handovers, delivering this project introduced a number of new challenges to overcome, and the team rose to the test!
